To preserve precious water in Nevada water reclamation districts convert wastewater, also known as influent, into usable water for things like water landscapes and cooling electrical plants. The Nevada Independent toured the Clark County Water Reclamation District facility back in January with Gilbert Cruz, a wastewater operator to see how it all works.
